During a management training for an Austrian SME (engineering) with focus on leadership, customer orientation and conflict management we experienced some discussions on optimizing sales. Many ideas for improvement came up.

Following this training we talked to the CEO and found out that he wasn't satisfied with the sales results so far and he asked us to search for a new sales manager.

In addition we suggested to interview online via "Great Sales Force" the whole sales department: managers, the external and the internal sales forces, the product managers and the service engineers. All of them considered an increase of productivity of at least 30 per cent explaining why and how they could contribute to this growth. The new sales manager got all this information and within a month the first necessary changes were introduced which in turn had a very positive impact of the employees’ motivation. After three months the increase already amounted at 18%!
